The Western Reserve Academy boys cross country team placed 33rd with 841 points at the 36-team Malone Invitational Saturday at GlenOak High School in Canton.

Uniontown Green won the competition with 104 points. Raymond Barrett led the Pioneers with a 134th-place time of 19 minutes, 20.5 seconds. A total of 253 runners competed.

Rounding out the top five for Reserve were Cade Howard (139th, 19:29.3), Jack Colafella (182nd, 20:29.9) and Matthew McCaffrey (197th, 21:07.5).
