The Hudson field hockey team continued its dominance in Northeast Ohio Field Hockey League play.

The host Explorers improved to 5-1 overall and 5-0 in the league after earning a convincing 6-0 victory over Gates Mills Hawken Friday at Scott Malson Field.

Kaci Ramlow scored twice and Marita Johnson had one goal and two assists. Lila Bishop, Brooke Buchanan and Faith Donatelli each scored once and Reese Stiller, Reilly Timko and Katie Moloney had one assist apiece. Two of the Explorers’ goals came on penalty corners.

Hudson goaltender Sadie Mrakuzic finished with five saves as the Explorers, who led 3-0 at halftime, had an 18-5 advantage in shots on goal and a 12-4 edge in penalty corners.
