Stow-Munroe Falls football headed to Brecksville-Broadview Heights Friday and came home with its first loss of the season.

A 2-yard touchdown run from Bees quarterback Joe Labas in overtime proved to be difference in the game, as Stow dropped a 42-35 loss in overtime.

Stow (3-1, 1-0 in the Suburban League National Conference) rallied twice from deficits to force overtime. After the Bees scored first in overtime, Stow quarterback Owen Bainbridge was sacked on fourth down to end the game. 

Bainbridge three three touchdown passing in the loss, as hit threw two to Dalen Stovall and one to Jack Costa. A 57-yard pass from Bainbridge to Stovall tied the game with 6:07 left in the fourth quarter.

Xavier Preston scored two rushing touchdowns for Stow, including a 77-yard sweep with 6:46 left in the third quarter.

Stow will return home to face North Royalton Friday at 7 p.m.
