The Aurora girls cross country team placed third with 112 points at the 16-team Todd Clark Cloverleaf Invitational Saturday in Lodi.

Shaker Heights easily won the competition with 32 points and Highland was the runner-up with 104 points.

The Red Raiders’ Avery Blaszak defeated 110 other runners by more than 40 seconds. She posted a winning time of 19 minutes, 25.3 seconds.

Mikayla Jones led the Greenmen with an 11th-place clocking of 21:00.9. Not far behind her was teammate Grace Barto, who finished 15th in 21:31.1.

Rounding out the top five for Aurora were Victoria Blechschmid (25th, 22:16.6), Alexis Horvath (30th, 22.33.1) and Dylynn Lasky (31st, 22:35.6).
