The Western Reserve Academy volleyball team went weeks without winning a match.

The Pioneers recently picked up their second win in eight days.

Host Reserve cruised past Cleveland John Adams 25-5, 25-18, 25-14 Thursday at the Murdough Athletic Center gymnasium.

With the win, WRA, which has now won two of its last three matches, improved to 3-10. Sydney Grossman had a match-high 20 aces and Lauren Wiggam and Allison Weinzierl each had four aces for the Pioneers.

Lily Nicholson and Kayla Jiang each had two aces for Reserve.
