The Western Reserve Academy girls tennis team has had its struggles throughout the fall.

On Tuesday, the Pioneers were able to wash away their anxiety with a much-needed victory.

Host Reserve improved to 2-10 in 2019 after posting a 4-1 win over Chagrin Falls. Katie Chen (6-2, 6-4) and Hannah Ma (6-3, 7-5) scored victories at first and second singles, respectively.

WRA’s doubles teams of Pritam Garcha and Annie Nguyen (6-4, 3-6, 6-4) and Rowena Ge and Lauren Landry (6-0, 6-4) also triumphed.
