The Tallmadge girls soccer team dropped to 3-4 overall 0-3 in the Suburban League American Conference after losing to host Kent Roosevelt Wednesday at Stanton Stadium.
The Rough Riders (2-6, 1-2) scored two goals in the final 1 minute, 40 seconds of the first half. Lea Parham scored the first goal off an assist from Rachel Booher.
Roosevelt scored its second goal with four seconds left in the first half when Janiece Jones found the net off an assist from Parham.
The Blue Devils got their lone goal in the 77th minute when Natalie Onchak scored on a free kick into the upper portion of the net. Tallmadge also had a shot by Kate Hussing hit the post.
Blue Devils’ goalkeeper Maryn Montgomery made seven saves in the nets.
Tallmadge had a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal. Both teams took two corner kicks.
