The Aurora boys golf team is still in the driver’s seat to win the American Conference title.
The Greenmen will most likely have to settle for nothing less than first to do so.
Aurora finished second with a score of 332 in the American Conference at the third of four Suburban League tournaments Saturday at Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna.
Highland won the seven-team competition with a score of 316 and Kent Roosevelt took third with a 333. The Greenmen won the first two conference tournaments.
Tallmadge’s Darin Hudak earned medalist honors with a 76. Luke Radis led Aurora with a 79.
AJ Ventimiglia was next for the Greenmen with an 82. Rounding out the team scoring for the Aurora were Jude Abbass (85) and Mason Wolkov (86).
