Heading into the fourth quarter Friday night, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy football was looking at its second straight tight defeat, as it trailed Revere.

In the fourth quarter, however, it was all Royals. 

CVCA scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, rallying to score a 38-24 win over the Minutemen at Royals Stadium.

Quarterback Michael Bevington threw touchdown passes of 3 yards and 23 yards to wide receiver Austen Williams early in the fourth quarter to take the lead, followed by a 1-yard touchdown run from running back Shane Douglas to seal the win.

Bevington went 11-of-15 for 242 yards and three touchdowns in the win. CVCA outrushed Revere 230-125.

The Royals will up Principals’ Athletic Conference play next Friday by hosting Wooster Triway at 7 p.m.
