The Western Reserve Academy boys cross country team finished 12th with 424 points in the Division 3-B race at the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival Saturday at Hedges Boyer Park.

Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic won the 33-team competition with 424 points. St. Mary’s Brett Reed placed first out of 190 runners with a time of 17 minutes, 11 seconds.

Jacob Grossman led the Pioneers with a 44th-place time of 19:07.3 Cade Howard was next for Reserve with a 49th-place clocking of 19:14.5.

Rounding out the top five for WRA were Raymond Barrett (53rd, 19:19.9), Jack Colafella (142nd, 21:02.9) and Edward He (149th, 21:28.2).
