The Hudson girls volleyball team improved to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the Suburban League National Conference after posting a 25-21, 25-22, 25-18 victory over host North Royalton Thursday.
Brooke Ramlow finished with 14 assists, 13 digs, 12 kills and nine service points and Amelia Hoffmeier had 30 digs and nine service points for the Explorers.
Several other players also had strong performances for Hudson. They were Morgan Gaeta (14 digs and two kills), Allyson Yanak (five kills, two blocks and two digs), Page Gross (10 kills and nine blocks), Cailynn Sullivan (seven kills and four blocks), Anna Faust (nine service points and seven digs), Rylyn Dearstine (eight kills and seven blocks) and Melissa Hansen (22 assists and seven digs).
"It was a really nice win, especially to close them out in three sets," Explorers head coach Brad Disandis said. "We were very happy about how dominant we were at the net, which made a huge difference for us.
"The girls were very focused to try to establish themselves after a tough loss to Nordonia on Tuesday. It was nice to get our first win in five seasons at North Royalton."
