The Hudson girls tennis team kept its Suburban League National Conference hopes alive with a commanding victory on the road.

The Explorers improved to 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the conference after earning a 5-0 win over host North Royalton Wednesday.

Laura Nijhuis (6-1, 6-0), Sunny Fan (6-1, 6-0) and Emma Hall (6-3, 6-0) routed their opponents in singles’ play.

Hudson’s doubles teams of Katie Tuttle and Jennifer Grainger (6-2, 6-0) and Samantha Sigler and Emi Uijtewaal (6-1, 6-3) also dominated their matches.
