The host Hudson boys soccer team improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the Suburban League National Conference after defeating Brecksville-Broadview Heights 3-1 Tuesday.

The Bees are the defending co-National Conference champions. The Explorers, who defeated Brecksville (2-3, 0-2) in district play last year, scored two unanswered goals in the second half.

Peyton Koscho scored both of those goals off assists from Caleb Junko and Skanda Moorthy. Jarrett Widdoes scored Hudson’s first goal off an assist from Jarrett Widdoes.

The Explorers had a 17-3 advantage in shots on goal and a 9-1 edge in corner kicks.

Bees’ goalkeeper Thomas Champion made 14 saves. Hudson goalie Stephen Yerian stopped two shots.
