The Hudson girls tennis team finished sixth with 16 points at the eight-team Rocky River Invitational Friday.
The singles’ competition took place at Tri-City Park and the doubles’ competition took place at Magnificat High School.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights and North Canton Hoover both scored 27 points to share the title. Magnificat took third with 24 points.
Sunny Fan won two of her three matches at second singles. She placed third to lead the Explorers.
Emma Hall went 1-1 at third singles to place fourth and Hudson’s first doubles team of Katie Tuttle and Jen Grainger went 2-1 to finish fifth.
The Explorers’ second doubles team of Sam Sigler and Emi Uijtewaal went 1-1 to place sixth. Also placing sixth for Hudson was Laura Nijhuis, who finished 1-2 at first singles.
