The Georgia World Convention Center was filled with 550 girls’ basketball teams competing in the Atlanta National Championship in front of 600 college coaches July 23-25.

Hudson Middle School student-athletes Grace Jackson and Taylor Angielski’s Amateur Athletic Union team, Score More Athletic Club (2024), went undefeated and won Atlanta’s top platinum title. It was the duo's eighth championship this year.

SMAC defeated Indiana Flight 35-33 in the championship game. Jackson knocked down two free throws for the game-winning points late in the game.

SMAC opened against Sisters Keepers from New York City and led from start to finish en route to a 39-32 victory.

SMAC then went on to face Louisiana’s Prodigy Elite, which played a full-court, trapping defense the entire game. SMAC earned a 56-48 win after leading by just one (30-29) at halftime.

SMAC got some hot shooting from Angielski in SMAC’s 53-32 victory over Cap City Ballerz from Washington, D.C. Angielski converted all five of her 3-point attempts to lead SMAC.
