The Cuyahoga Falls and Walsh Jesuit boys golf teams, along with host Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, competed at the CVCA Invitational Monday at Silver Lake Country Club.

The Royals finished fourth with a score of 333. Stow-Munroe Falls easily won the 17-team competition with a score of 311 and Cleveland St. Ignatius (322) and Hudson (328) placed second and third, respectively.

The Warriors captured sixth (343) and the Black Tigers finished 17th (590).

Gates Mills Gilmour Academy’s Liam Ottaway and the Bulldogs’ Dylan Dunn each shot a 74 to share medalist honors.

Caden Scarbrough finished in a tie for ninth place with an 80 to lead CVCA.

Rounding out the top four for the Royals were Blake Bolinski (82), Andrew Hendrickx (85) and Mason Henry (86).

Josh Weiner led Walsh with an 83. Also factoring into the Warriors’ team score were Donovan Morris (84), Parker Kufel (87), Jackson Holzapel (89) and Ethan Shah (89).

Tim Kearns led Falls with a score of 114. Shane Shaffer was next with a 122.
