Par seems to be a good score at The Country Club of Hudson.

Through two rounds, even par is good enough to take the girls lead at the 2019 Hudson Junior Invitational.

On Wednesday, Canton native and recent GlenOak graduate Jessica Hahn shot her second straight round of 72, giving her an even-par score of 144 and a one-stroke lead heading into the final round of the Junior, which is scheduled for Thursday.

Also shooting an even par 72 Wednesday was Chagrin Falls’ native Jami Morris. Morris sits at 145 (1-over) for the tournament and is one stroke behind Hahn for the lead. Several golfers shot 72 Wednesday, which is the low girls round for the tournament.

Rounding out the top trio for Thursday will be fellow GlenOak golfer Madison Reemsnyder. Reemsnyder sits at 147 (3-over) after shooting a round of 74 Wednesday.

Hudson native Jenn David — a future teammate of Hahn’s at the University of Akron — also shot a round of 72 Wednesday. David is tied for eighth place with Raina Ports of Oro Valley, Arizona, with a score of 150 (6-over).

Fellow Hudson native Meaghan Grant sits at 174 (30-over) after shooting a round of 86 Wednesday.

The girls’ final round of the Hudson Junior will tee off at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
