The Western Reserve Academy girls track and field team finished third with 68 points at the Cuyahoga Heights Relays Saturday.

Independence won the eight-team competition with 104 points and Bristolville Bristol took second with 73 points.

The Pioneers’ lone winner was the shuttle hurdles’ team of Mariah Davis, Meimei Tannehill, Micayla Brent and Amy Zhou. They crossed the finish line in a time of 1 minute, 13.8 seconds.

Other Reserve relays that finished in the top four are as follows.

High jump: Brent, Esme Cummins and Davis, second, 13 feet, 6 inches

Long jump: Brent, Davis and Juliana Xie, fourth, 40-5 ½

Pole vault: Chelsea Dodson and Nadia Konovalchik, third, 11-6

3,200: Clara Fu, Julia Ashley, Kimberly Winson and JJ Je, third, 11:02.72

Sprint medley: Sophie Bormann, Sophia Shaheen, Ma and Konovalchik, fourth, 2:07.74
