The Hudson girls track and field team finished fifth with 38 points at the 16-team Berea Kiwanis Titans Relays Friday at Baldwin Wallace University’s George Finnie Stadium.

Medina won the 17-team competition with 66 points and Brunswick (56), Strongsville (51) and Berea-Midpark (40) took the next three spots.

The following Explorers finished in the top eight.

Long jump: Cecily Merrick, Makayla Hudy and Morgan Lindrow, third, 45 feet, 2 inches

Shot put: Olivia Chauvin, Jocelyn Weaver and Amanda Bellish, fifth, 89-7

Discus: Bellish, Weaver and Chauvin, third, 278 feet

Distance medley: Emmaline Hannan, Lauren Pacsi, Sydney Gallagher and Brenna Beucler, second, 12 minutes, 37.57 seconds

3,200 meters: Hannan, Riley Gaynor, Jordyn Hopgood and Beucler, fifth, 9:50.43

6,400 relay: Amy Fulton, Subi Simmons, Nicole Jurado and Sofia Bogoniewski, eighth, 23:50.74
