The Hudson boys track and field team finished in a tie for fourth place with Brunswick at the 16-team Berea Kiwanis Titans Relays Friday at Baldwin Wallace University’s George Finnie Stadium.

The Explorers and Blue Devils both scored 46 points.

Strongsville won the competition with 67 points and Cleveland St. Ignatius (61) and Medina (50) placed second and third, respectively.

The distance medley team of Adam Beucler, Lucas Lay, Andrew Goldslager and Evan Manley won with a time of 10 minutes, 37.21 seconds.

Jacob Russo won the 3,200-meter race with a clocking of 9:49.37.

Other relays that placed in the top seven for Hudson are as follows.

Long jump: Marcus Gaines, Jacob Fernandez and Hunter Trautmann, fourth, 55 feet, 7 inches

Shot put: Nathan Slater, Kevin Toth and Orion Beh, third, 128-4

Discus: Slater, Toth and Evan Knipp, third, 378-10

Sprint medley: Nivash Jayaram, Dominic LaMarca, Samoid Reed Jr. and Lay, seventh, 1:38.69

800: Colin Pierce, Grady Zappone, Reed and Jayaram, sixth, 1:34.64

6,400: Kenny McCaughey, Titan Casey, Gabe Shale and Jack Root, fifth, 18:59.18
