The Western Reserve Academy baseball team suffered its third straight loss Tuesday.

The Pioneers dropped to 7-5 in 2019 after losing to University 5-2 in Hunting Valley.

Reserve finished with 10 hits and scored both of its runs in the top of the first inning.

The Preppers scored three runs in the bottom of the first and added two more runs in the fifth. University finished with nine hits. Neither team committed an error.

Noah Barnes finished with three hits, a stolen base and a run scored. He also drew a walk.

Jake Pendergraft also had three hits, including a double, and a stolen base and Colin McKenna finished with two hits, two stolen bases and an RBI.

Vijay Sastry pitched the first five innings for WRA and took the loss on the mound.
