The Hudson boys lacrosse team concluded a three-matches-in-three-days’ stretch with a lopsided 17-2 victory over Cranbrook (Michigan) Sunday.
The Explorers lost to Columbus St. Charles 10-7 Saturday and defeated Lakewood St. Edward 9-7 Friday. All three matches took place at Hudson Memorial Stadium.
Hudson also played Jackson April 10 in Massillon and earned a thrilling 8-7 win in triple overtime.
Against Cranbrook, Blake Lori led Hudson (6-4) with four goals and two assists. Merrick Widdoes scored three times and Adam Oscarson added two goals and one assist.
Jake Vidmar and Frankie Fulco each had two goals and Alec Dickens had one goal and two assists for the Explorers. Jordan Ito added an assist.
Widdoes led the way against St. Charles. He finished with three goals and two assists.
Lori added two goals and Dickens and Brady Ludewig scored once.
Widdoes and Lori each had two goals and an assist to lead Hudson against St. Edward.
Ito finished with two goals and Oscarson had one goal and one assist. Ludewig and Dane DiGeronimo each scored once for the Explorers, who won 11 of 19 face-offs.
