The Tallmadge softball team dropped its second straight game to a Division I opponent.

The Blue Devils fell to 8-5 in 2019 after losing to host Medina 8-3 Saturday.

The Bees led 5-3 after two innings and then added a run apiece in the third, fourth and fifth innings, respectively, to put it away.

Medina finished with 12 hits and one error. The Blue Devils had seven hits and two errors.

Emily Pratt took the loss in the pitcher’s circle. She allowed 12 hits and six earned runs. She finished with four strikeouts and two walks.

Kennedy Rorar led Tallmadge’s offense with three hits and an RBI. Autumn Malicoat finished with two hits, including a triple, two RBIs, a stolen base and a run scored.
