The Tallmadge softball team’s struggles continued Saturday.

The Blue Devils dropped their third straight game after suffering a commanding 11-1 defeat over Uniontown Lake in Medina.

The game was called after 4 ½ innings due to the 10-run mercy rule. The Blue Streaks took complete control with nine runs in the second.

Left-hander Hallie Mullett took the loss in the pitcher’s circle. Lake had 12 hits and no errors and Tallmadge had six hits and two errors.

Kennedy Rorar had two hits and Katie Rinehart had a single, a stolen base and a run scored for the Blue Devils.

Mullett also had a single and an RBI for Tallmadge.
