The defending Suburban League American Conference champions are on a roll thus far.

The host Tallmadge baseball team improved to 7-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference after earning a 6-1 victory over Highland Thursday at Dave Young Field.

The Blue Devils scored four runs in the first and didn’t look back.

Todd Bangston got the win on the mound to improve to 3-0. He allowed four hits and struck out six batters in seven innings of work. Bangston also had a single and an RBI at the plate.

Sam Seeker had a huge day for Tallmadge.

He had two hits, including a triple, an RBI and three stolen bases. Richie Eyre also had a single and an RBI for the Blue Devils.
