The host Western Reserve Academy baseball team improved to 4-2 after earning a 15-5 victory over Newbury Monday.

Justin Gacom got the win on the mound. He did not allow a hit in four innings of work.

Mikey Mylott blasted a home run and drove in three runs and Aidan McKenna stole five bases and scored three runs for the Pioneers.

Also faring well for Reserve were Noah Frato-Sweeney (three runs scored and three stolen bases), Noah Barnes (three runs scored) and Colin McKenna (three RBIs).
