The Twinsburg boys tennis team continued a strong early season.

Head coach Michael Porinchak saw his club win in dominant fashion as Twinsburg blanked Aurora 5-0 in a home meet Friday to move to 6-1 overall at the Western Reserve Racquet and Fitness Club in Streetsboro.

First singles standout Marco Nesic continued his winning ways against the Greenmen (3-2).

Nesic posted a 6-1, 6-1 win over Mitchell Curtis. At second singles, senior Zack McIlroy had a g 6-0, 7-5 win.

Hardik Polamarasetti, a first-year senior, had a big win at third singles, registering a 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 win over Auroraís Zach Sender.

In doubles play, senior Mike Sterling and junior Brian Nesic were 6-0, 6-0 victors and seniors Rohan Deshpande and Adam Groenke were winners at second doubles, 6-4, 6-3.

The Tigers moved to 2-0 in the Suburban League National Conference with a spirited 5-0 victory at North Royalton Wednesday.

Marco Nesic won 6-1, 6-1 at the first spot and a critical win saw junior Zach Georgevich go three sets at the second singles spot with a 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 score. Polamarasetti won 6-1, 6-2 at the third spot.

Senior Xander Bard and Deshpande won 6-0, 6-0 at second doubles while Sterling and Brian Nesic were 6-0, 6-0 winners at the first spot for the Tigers.

In upcoming action, the Tigers host Stow-Munroe Falls on April 10, visit Median Highland April 11, and host Wadsworth on April 15.

Twinsburg opened league play April 1 with a convincing 5-0 home win over Cuyahoga Falls.

In singles play, Marco Nesic, McIlroy, and Georgevich all won 6-0, 6-0 for the Tigers.

Sterling and Brian Nesic won 6-0, 6-0 at first doubles while another 6-0, 6-0 win was turned in second doubles by Bard and Deshpande.
