The Hudson boys tennis team placed third at the Lakewood St. Edward Invitational Saturday at Impett Park in Cleveland.
Chagrin Falls Township Kenston won the nine-team competition and Toledo St. John’s Jesuit was the runner-up.
Rob Tobin and Spencer Rodgers won the first doubles flight with wins over North Canton Hoover, Westlake and Kenston.
Harrsha Congivaram was the runner-up at the first singles’ flight with wins over Avon Lake and Kenston. He lost to a player from St. John in the final.
Wendell Wu finished second at third singles with victories over Westlake and Hoover. Wu lost to a player from St. John in the final.
Alex Joslyn and Sam Diener finished fourth in the second doubles’ flight.
