The Aurora softball team got back on track 24 hours after a tough loss.
The host Greenmen earned a 6-0 victory over Barberton Thursday.
With the win, Aurora, which lost to Tallmadge 9-2 the previous day, improved to 2-1 overall and in the Suburban League American Conference.
Rachael Dudziak pitched a three-hit shutout to pick up the win.
Becca Crawford had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored. Aleese Angelo had two hits, including a double, and three RBIs.
Lauren Callahan and Julia Mazanec each had two hits. One of Callahan’s hits was a triple and she also had two RBIs and two runs scored. Mazanec also scored a run for the Greenmen, who finished with 11 hits.
Aurora scored twice in the third inning, once in the fifth and three times in the sixth.
