The Tallmadge boys and girls bowling teams had stellar performances at the Suburban League Postseason Tournament Saturday at Sto-Kent Family Entertainment in Stow.
The boys team finished second with a score of 2,917. Kent Roosevelt won the 12-team competition with a score of 3,077 and Wadsworth placed third (2,915).
The girls team captured third with a score of 2,466. Stow-Munroe Falls easily won the 11-team competition with a total of 2,998 and Cuyahoga Falls was the runner-up (2,559).
Due to equipment issues at Sto-Kent, there were no Baker games.
Robbie Wilson was the runner-up in the boys’ competition. He rolled games of 256, 200 and 231, respectively for a 687 series.
Nordonia’s Tyler Juriga had the high series of 709 and Stow’s Nolan Snowberger had the high game (259).
Josh Parry was next for the Blue Devils with a 603 series (233, 192 and 178) and Parker Braccio wasn’t far behind with a 585 series (206, 180 and 199).
Also competing for Tallmadge were Patrick Stachowiak (207, 161 and 164) and Cooper Randolph (144, 190 and 176).
In the girls’ competition, Isabelle Hall led the Blue Devils with a fourth-place 622 series (180, 242 and 200). Stow’s duo of Taylor Roberts (669) and Jillian Martin (640) took the top two spots. Roberts also had the high game for either gender with a 276.
Kirsten Moore was next for Tallmadge with a seventh-place 598 series (188, 200 and 190).
Rounding out the team scores for the Blue Devils were Florence Drayer (141, 134 and 192), Aileena Sargeant (111, 136 and 147) and Morgan Cool (95, 148 and 142).
