The Greenmen’s reign in the Suburban League American Conference has officially completed its third year.
The Aurora girls basketball team finished 12-0 in the conference for the second consecutive year after crushing host Copley 63-37 Wednesday.
With the win, the Greenmen improved to 20-1 on the season. It was their 13th consecutive victory and 26th straight conference win dating back to 2017.
Shyanne Sellers led Aurora with a game-high 25 points as 12 Greenmen reached the scoring column.
Aurora led the Indians 23-9 at the end of the first quarter and put the contest out of reach by halftime (37-18).
Shayla Sellers added 10 points for Aurora. Alexis Heap led Copley with 14 points.
