The Hudson wrestling team plans to have a special evening when it takes the mats Friday.
The Explorers also plan to have a very special guest.
That guest of honor happens to be one of the school’s all-time greats, who now makes a living in the NFL.
"Brian Winters is coming back to be our honorary captain," Hudson head coach Joe Caniglia said. "He’s going to sit on the bench with us. That will be a cool night for the kids to have some fun."
Winters, a 2009 Hudson graduate who is now an offensive lineman for the New York Jets, was an All-Ohio player when he wore the pads for the Explorers.
Hudson, which also plans to honor its seniors, is scheduled to host Willoughby South Friday at Ray "Buck" Hyser. Wrestling is set to begin at 6 p.m.
