The Tallmadge girls and boys bowling teams earned hard-fought Suburban League victories over host Cuyahoga Falls Friday at Legend Lanes.
The girls improved to 7-1 in the league with a 2,020-1,922 victory. The boys moved to 7-2 in the league with a 2,352-2,192 win.
Kirsten Moore led the Blue Devil girls with scores of 229 and 189, respectively. Also faring well for Tallmadge, which outscored the Black Tigers 482-472 in the Baker competition despite losing two of three games, were Florence Drayer (197 and 127), Aileena Sargeant (139 and 168) and Isabelle Hall (141 and 149).
Robert Wilson led the boys team with scores of 201 and 181. Not far behind were teammates Parker Braccio (192 and 196) and Joshua Parry (201 and 181).
Also competing for the Blue Devils were Patrick Stachowiak (185 and 167) and Cooper Randolph (179 and 145).
