Six Hudson residents from Flytz Gymnastics in Cuyahoga Falls competed at the "Coaches Spectacular" gymnastics meet Jan 18-20 in Covington, Kentucky.

This meet hosts thousands of gymnasts from several states and showcases some of the nation’s best talent.

Level 3 gymnast Annie Lawrence placed first on vault with a 9.125 and on the bars with a 9.45 and second on the floor exercise with a 9.375 and second in the all-around competition with a 36.25.

Level 3 teammate Olivia Mager finished second on the bars with a 9.025. Mager and Lawrence also helped their team to a second-place finish.

Level 6 gymnast Leah Carino captured second on the balance beam with a 9.1 and first on the floor with a 9.475. Level 6 teammate Ally Whelan placed third on the bars with a 9.025. Whelan and Carino helped their team to a second-place finish.

Level 8 gymnast Emily Plone finished second on vault with an 8.75 and on the beam with a 9.25 and third in the all-around standings with a 35.775.

Level 9 gymnast Gianna Mager took second on the floor with an 8.875.
