The host Western Reserve Academy boys basketball team improved to 8-8 on the season after earning a 66-51 victory over Cleveland Collinwood Thursday at the Murdough Athletic Center gymnasium.

Ben Daugherty led the Pioneers with 22 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals and Dorde Otasevic contributed 15 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and four blocks.

Alex Lammers added eight points, four rebounds and three steals. Also faring well for Reserve, which went on a 19-0 run in the second quarter, were Trevor Wood (eight points), Evan Bongers (five points, four assists and four steals) and Mikey Mylott (four points and six rebounds).
