The Tallmadge bowling teams finished fifth at the Norton Panther Tournament Saturday at Charger Lanes.

The boys scored a total of 3,944. Berea-Midpark won the 10-team competition with a score of 4,239. Nordonia finished second with a score of 4,235 and Ashland (4,135) and Cuyahoga Falls (3,945) placed third and fourth, respectively.

Robbie Wilson led the boys team with the highest series of the tournament (674). He bowled games of 246, 202 and 226, respectively.

Also competing for the Blue Devils were Parker Braccio, who rolled a 632 series (231, 201 and 200), Josh Parry (193, 208 and 186), Patrick Stachowiak (138, 191 and 189) and Cooper Randolph (185 and 185).

The girls finished with a total of 3,172. North Canton Hoover won the eight-team competition with a score of 3,748. Ashland was the runner-up (3,473) and Uniontown Lake (3,304) and Akron Ellet (3,187) took the next two spots.

Kirsten Moore led the girls team with a third-place series of 534 (140, 201 and 193). Isabelle Hall finished fifth with a series total of 519 (179, 161 and 179).

Also faring well for Tallmadge were Florence Drayer (126, 132 and 137) and Aileena Sargeant (142).
