The Tallmadge swimming and diving teams competed at the 27-team Chardon Hilltopper Invitational Saturday.
The boys finished 15th with 103 points. Mayfield won the competition with 430 points and the Ashland Arrows (342) and Painesville Riverside (325) placed second and third, respectively.
The girls finished 13th with 21 points. Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown won with 539.5 points and Chardon (517.5) and Gates Mills Gilmour Academy (378) captured second and third, respectively.
Nicolas Sabetta led the way with a seventh-place time of 27.58 seconds in the 50-yard butterfly. He also finished 10th in the 100 freestyle (55.01) and joined Nickolas Archer, Alex Krukemeyer and Jack Markley on the 10th-place 200 medley relay team (2:01.72).
Krukemeyer placed 11th in the 200 freestyle (2:05.62). Kaine Koerner also finished 11th in the 50 breaststroke (36.53).
Archer captured 13th in the 100 backstroke (1:10.29 and joined Krukemeyer, Jard Shumaker and Sabetta on the 12th-place 200 freestyle relay (1:44.5).
Hannah Fiume led the girls with a 10th-place time of 36.9 seconds.
