The Hudson ice hockey team got a kick in the teeth to a conference rival.

The Explorers dropped to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League Red North East Division after losing to Cleveland Heights 3-1.

The contest took place Friday at the Cleveland Heights Community Center.

Blake Lori scored the lone goal for Hudson off an assist from Luke Karnofel.

Nolan Ramsey, Claude Lewis and Ned Trivisono scored for the Tigers.

Goaltender Will Hannon made 22 saves for the Explorers and Cleveland Heights’ goalie Danny Lewis stopped 31 shots.
