For the second time this season, the Hudson girls volleyball team made its rival to the south sweat a little bit.

For the second time this season, the Explorers came up short against that rival.

Host Hudson fell to 6-13 overall and 3-9 in the Suburban League National Conference after losing to Stow-Munroe Falls 25-23, 23-25, 25-13, 25-21 at Ray "Buck" Hyser Gymnasium.

Regina Alvarez had a strong match for the Explorers. She finished with 20 kills and five digs.

Cami Madar contributed six blocks and five kills and Allyson Yanaks had eight kills and three blocks for Hudson.

Brooke Ramlow added five blocks and four kills and Lindsay Sadler finished with 32 assists and 10 service points, including two aces, for the Explorers.

Kendall Mackay led Hudson’s back row with 25 digs. Amelia Hoffmeier and Morgan Gaeta contributed 13 and 12 digs, respectively.
