The Hudson girls volleyball finished 1-2 at the Perry Volleyball Invitational Saturday.

The Explorers lost to Cortland Lakeview 25-20, 25-23. Allyson Yanaks led the way with six kills and and Cailynn Sullivan and Regina Alvarez contributed five and four kills, respectively, for Hudson.

Amelia Hoffmeier added 19 digs and Kendall Mackay finished with seven digs for the Explorers. Lindsay Sadler had 19 assists for Hudson.

The Explorers earned a 25-15, 25-22 victory over Gates Mills Hawken. Avarez finished with six kills and Yanaks and Brooke Ramlow each had four kills and two blocks. Sullivan added four kills.

Hoffmeier and Mackay contributed 11 and eight digs, respectively, and Sadler had 16 assists.

Hudson lost to Warren Howland 26-24, 28-26. Yanaks finished with five kills and two blocks and Alvarez had five kills. Ramlow added four kills.

Sullivan contributed three blocks and Hoffmeier led the back row with 13 digs. Anna Faust and Mackay had eight and five digs, respectively. Sadler finished with 18 assists.
