Cuyahoga Falls, OH— Walsh Jesuit has hired 2010 Walsh Jesuit graduate, George Wright as the varsity men’s lacrosse coach.

Wright played lacrosse for Otterbein University and was named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in 2014. Wright served as the assistant varsity men’s lacrosse and hockey coach for Walsh Jesuit last year.

Wright played golf, hockey and lacrosse at Walsh Jesuit, where he was the all-time leader in goals, assists and points for the Walsh Jesuit lacrosse program. Wright also held the single season record for goal assists and points for lacrosse until this year. He also was the fifth all-time leading scorer for the Walsh Jesuit hockey team, and served as an assistant captain.

Wright, a 2014 Otterbein graduate is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Kent State University.
