Openings remain for this summer's Stow Parks and Recreation Bulldog Basketball Camp.
The camp will be directed by Stow-Munroe Falls head boys basketball coach Dave Close.
The camp is for boys entering grades 6 through 9 during the week of June 25. The camp will go from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Camp tuition will be $105 for pre-registered campers, $110 at the door.
Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, a video shooting skills analysis, a fundamental skills evaluation, and opportunities to win plenty of awards.
The camp will be staffed with members of Close's staff along with present and former Stow High basketball players.

Trio plays golf
Stow residents Doug Underwood and Steven Spalding and Munroe Falls resident Steve Bednar competed at the Hudson Junior Invitational, which began play June 20 at the Country Club of Hudson.
The competition was slated to conclude June 22. Results were not available at press time.
Underwood opened the tournament with 75 strokes. Spalding and Bednar each shot a 78.
Girls named all-stars
The following Stow-Munroe Falls softball players were named 2007 Western Reserve All-Stars: seniors Britt'nie Barlow (shortstop) and Megan Osgood (outfielder); junior Allison Scherer (first baseman); and sophomore Sami Guinn (second baseman).
Walsh Jesuit softball players Molly McNamara (shortstop) and Maria Simone (catcher) and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy players Katie Keslar (pitcher) and Hanna Eliason (second baseman) recently were named to the 2007 Summit All-Star team.
