The 2007 Stow Lady Bulldog Basketball Camp will be June 11 to 15 at the Stow-Munroe Falls High School gymnasium. Sessions will run daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for girls entering grades four through nine.
Camp tuition is $100 for those registering a week before the session and $105 at the door.
Camp instructors will be the basketball coaches from the Stow-Munroe Falls girls basketball program. Varsity players also will assist with instruction.

to Mount Union
Stow-Munroe Falls senior tennis players Jared Hubicsak recently committed to continue his academic and tennis career at Mount Union College.
Hubicsak is a three-year letter winner at first singles at Stow. He plans to major in accounting at Mount Union.
Sports physicals offered
Stow-Munroe Falls annual sport physicals will be at a new location this year. Physicals will be offered at the Akron Children's Hospital Physician Associates office, located at 1365 Corporate Drive, Suite A in Hudson.
Physicals will be June 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. at a cost of $20.
All student athletes are required to sign-up for a time period between 1 and 4 p.m. A sign-up list will be available in the high school athletic office with Mrs. Childress. Reserve a spot by calling 330-689-5204 during office hours 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Athletes are required to complete an OHSAA pre-participation physical form. Forms may be picked up at the athletic office, from Mrs. Martin at Kimpton Middle School or Mrs. Maghes at Lakeview. The form may also be obtained by downloading it from the state Web site at www.ohsaa.org. All forms must be completed and signed by parents and student athletes prior to arrival.

Youth soccer camp offered in June
Stow Soccer Club will host a youth camp for children ages 5 through 14 at Silver Springs Park on Stow Road on June 11 through 15 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The camp is designed to teach kids technical and tactical skills for soccer, with an emphasis on teamwork, fair play, and fun. Players are grouped according to age and skill level. Player to coach ratio will not exceed 15:1.
Hector Marinaro, the all-time leading scorer in Major Indoor Soccer League history and Cleveland Sports Hall of Famer, will make a guest appearance at the camp.

SSC hosts fall soccer registration
Registration for the Stow Soccer Club's fall 2007 season will be at Oregon Trails Park meeting room on Graham Road across from Woodland Elementary. Registration will be June 2 from 9 a.m, to noon and June 6 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The in-house teams for players ages 5-8 meets on Saturday mornings. Travel teams for ages 8-14 practice in Stow twice a week and play games in Stow and greater Akron area. Travel team players must bring copy of birth certificate and 1-inch by 1-inch color photograph to registration. New players are welcome.

Rotary Club's golf
The Stow-Munroe Falls Rotary Club will host a golf outing June 1 at Fox Den Fairways in Stow. It will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m. with a putting contest beforehand.
Skill prizes will be featured on every hole for men and women and a steak dinner afterward with prizes. Foursomes and twosomes are welcome to attend.
