MOUNT CLEMENS, MICH. - Tambria Jo Mazur, 59, of Mount Clemens, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020, at McLaren Macomb Hospital, Mt. Clemens.
She was born November 24, 1960, in Fort Benning, GA. She was raised by her parents, the late Curry and Karen Burnside.
Her marriage to Thomas Mazur was October 25, 2002 in Lenox Township.
Tambria worked as a hair stylist for 41 years before her retirement in 2010. She loved the sunshine and sunbathing. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and ice fishing and was a member of the National Rifle Association and B.A.S.S. Tambria was a devoted Christian. Those who knew her would agree that “she was a bright light” to all that she came in contact with. She loved kids and the elderly, animals, Christmas, gardening and canning and baking.
Surviving in addition to her husband Thomas of 18 years, are two daughters, Meghan (Kevin) Gurdziel of Clay Township and Brittany (Allen) Bowens of Clinton Township; three granddaughters, Aurora, Isabella, and Grace; brothers, Scott (Lisa) Burnside and Jeff Burnside; sister, Cheryl (Adam) Workman as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jason McQuillan.
The family honors the memory of Tambria and invites you to visit and share memories Thursday, August 20, 2020, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Hamilton-Groesbeck, Mt. Clemens Chapel. Burial will be in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
