Mary Colleen Sauber
Collierville, TN - Mrs. Mary Colleen Sauber (née Crahan), of Collierville, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021, at the age of 81.
Colleen was born to parents Walter and Ethel Crahan on October 23rd, 1939 in Napoleon, OH. She attended St. Mary's College 1957-59, and graduated Catholic University of America. In 1965, she married David L. Sauber. She worked as an RN at St. Luke's Hospital in Shaker Heights, OH. Colleen served her community as a EMS Volunteer in Hudson, Ohio. She was active in her church communities in the choir and as a eucharistic minister at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Cheboygan, MI, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hudson, OH, and St. Brigid Catholic Church in Memphis, TN. She remained involved in Christ Child Society, Akron, OH. Colleen was an avid bridge and card player, enjoyed traveling and loved to be involved in all manner of social activities.
Colleen is survived by her husband, David L. Sauber, of 55 years; daughters, Kathleen "Katie" Sauber; and Margaret "Molly" (Eric) Stevens; four grandchildren; Mary Colleen "MeMe" and Liam Steinbock and Luke and Charles Stevens and many nieces and nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her siblings, John "Jack" Crahan and Patricia Dougherty.
Colleen will be cremated in Collierville, TN. A small service at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Memphis, TN will take place at a future date. A Summer 2021 service and celebration of life gathering will be held at Mullett Lake, MI. Colleen's ashes will be interred at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mullet Lake, MI. The family is grateful for condolences and asks for memorial donations to be made to Christ Child Society in Akron, OH and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
