Linda Joy Rhoads
Cuyahoga Falls - Linda Joy Rhoads died peacefully November 5, 2020 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Linda was born on March 19, 1961 in Elizabeth, NJ. She was preceded in death by her father, Laurence John Rhoads (Jack) and is survived by mother, Birgit Rhoads, her children, Nicholas Fuller and Jessica Fuller, her sister, Suzanne Rhoads Irwin and brother-in-law, Michael Kelly Irwin, and her corgis, Archer and Sancho.
Linda graduated from Hudson High School and Kent State University. She long worked for ACRT in Payroll as their meticulous Senior Accountant. Linda was wonderfully creative, talented with a sewing machine and hot glue gun, and famous for her Christmas tree decorations. She handmade, fixed, stitched, and adjusted innumerable outfits and costumes. She was a cherished member of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club, for which she served as club treasurer, show chairman, and maker of the much-loved Halloween gift bags for the club Annual Corgi Walk. She was a generous host who fed and nursed many surrogate children over the years. She spent much of her life with her nose in a book, and for the last 16 years she was an avid World of Warcraft player. Online she was a beloved guild mom. Linda kept beautiful gardens, adored her dogs, and was everything to her children. Linda was someone for whom event was sacred. She strived to make holidays and parties warm and fun. Her children hope to go forward with the same generosity and open door. There will be for those who knew her, and those who have yet to meet her proxies, much sausage rye and occasion.
