Charles Blake Fischer
Aurora - Charles Blake Fischer, of Aurora, OH, known as Blake, age 77, departed this world on October 26, 2020 for his new home in heaven.
Blake was surrounded by his wife and his family. Blake is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judith Ann; son Robert Blake (Jennifer) of Kent, OH; daughter Nicole J. Voinovich (Vic, Jr.) of Brecksville, OH and daughter Heather Michelle (Ronald Schreckengost Jr) of Garrettsville, OH. Grandchildren; Kayla, Victor III, Kassidy, Kael and Mallory. Also survived by his sisters Pamela (Rick) Ruby of Matthews, NC; Janet Schroder of Florence, KY and Sherry Fischer of Indian Land, SC; sister-in-law Linda Fischer Warrick of Poland, OH; and brother-in-law Lloyd Herman of Manitou Springs, CO. Blake was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow Wilson and Yvonne Anderson Fischer and his youngest son Matthew Paul Fischer; brothers Craig Thomas Fischer and Douglas Scott Fischer, and sister Carole J. Herman.
Blake was born October 5 ,1943 in Norfolk, Nebraska. He grew up in Dover, OH before attending Kent State University and finally settling and raising his family in his wife's hometown of Aurora, OH in 1966.
Blake retired and sold his Farmers Insurance Agency in 2016. His office was located in Aurora, Ohio for more than 30+ years. Blake made friends wherever he went and never would consider anyone a stranger. He loved talking sports and was the #1 fan of the Aurora Greenmen, Browns, Indians, Cavs and of course The Ohio State Buckeyes. If you saw Blake around town he would definitely be wearing his favorite team hat for the season. Jokes, Blake loved telling jokes to everyone around him. Blake Fischer was kind, thoughtful, charismatic and made everyone around him feel special like you've known each other for years. Blake Fischer you will be missed by many.
