AURORA - Patricia Tipton Korner of Aurora, Ohio, passed away peacefully, July 17th, 2019 after a long and fulfilling life. Pat was born in Unionport, Ohio on August 22, 1941.

She grew up on their family farm, helping her daddy who called her "hot shot", with farming and running an International Harvester Tractor Dealership, which won a top dealership award in 1953.

Pat was valedictorian of her high school and graduated from Kent State University, where she enjoyed being the lead majorette of the marching band. She went on to teach grade school for several years, thereafter.

Pat acquired a love for antiquing and was a fixture at the Aurora Farms Flea Market, wheeling and dealing, for many years during the 70’s and 80’s. If they have a garage sale in heaven, you will find her there. Make sure to get there early though, before she gets all of the good deals.

Pat found her true passion 45 years ago in real estate. She started her career listing and selling and then moved into investing and brokering. She was broker/owner of I.R. Martin for over ten years. Pat loved working with her friend and real estate partner, Kathy Sanicky, helping people find their forever home.

The family would like to give a special, loving thank you to Jodi Sedivy, a dear friend, who was there for her over the years in her time of need.

Pat was a strong, independent, and compassionate woman, who lead a remarkable life. She will be missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents Olen Archie Tipton and Katherine (Kroskey) Tipton, and her beautiful sister, Vada Irene Tipton Peterson and brother in law, Dean Peterson. She is survived by her sons, Keith Allen Korner and Kraig Edward (Devon) Korner, and her cherished grandchildren, Zackary, Jaxson and Dominic.
