TWINSBURG - Ronald Jay Russell lost his life to Alzheimer's on June 10, 2019.
He was born in Roswell, New Mexico. He was a graduate of the University of Arizona, earned a degree in Business and was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. Due to his career in management with Baxter Travenol, he and his family lived in Texas, California, Colorado, Illinois, North Carolina and finally settled in Ohio.
He enjoyed playing tennis, golf, gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with family. He was also a lover of food, particularly desserts. He was a avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls and Duke Blue Devil basketball. He enjoyed the music of Neil Diamond and Kenny G along with the humor of George Carlin.
Ron is survived by his wife of 59 years, Toni Russell; son, Jay (Linda Kadusky); daughter, Karen (Bill Butler); grandchildren, Morgan, Jacob, Luke and Logan; sister, Rosalind Russell; sister-in-law (Sandra Radtke) niece, Laurie McCloskey (Antonello La Ferrara); nephew, Michael McCloskey; great niece, Daniela.
There will be no services. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, (TB 06/25/19).
