Mark Kunkel died July 4, 2018 at Canal Place.
A lifetime resident of the area, Mark graduated from Hoban High School, attended St. Peter's Parish and served in the National Guard. He was a successful salesman and an avid environmentalist.
Mark was the seventh of ten children born to Albert A. Kunkel, Sr. and Mary Alberta (Yost) Kunkel on November 2, 1942.
Surviving are his wife, Cathy Kunkel (Mihalko); two brothers, James and Gerald (Deborah); and four sisters, Mary Clifton, JoAnn Grande, Alberta Kunkel, Deborah (Joseph) Conrad, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Mark was preceded in death by three brothers, Fr. Albert, Paul, and Thomas.
Calling hours were held at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 14 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
